My wife and I live in Florida and we do a lot of trail walking and beach days. We always carry a drawstring backpack to put our phones and wallet/purse in and until now we line the bag with a plastic garbage bag. As Florida is sub-Tropical climate at certain times of the year rain comes and goes at a moments notice. We don't mind walking in the rain and getting wet, especially on a hot day. The TRAILKICKER Drawstring Backpack that we ordered is water resistant and doesn't require a plastic bag to keep our items dry in the rain. The bag is larger than the previous bags weve used and measures in at 16 inches wide, almost 19 inches tall and just under 7 inches deep (front to back). The bag has a large internal volume and also has 5 pockets for items like water bottles or my wallet for easy access. The bag has a hard bottom that if loaded correctly allows the bag to sit upright. There's also a carry handle on top to handling the bag easier. Two drawstrings sinch the bag closed and also act as shoutder straps when carrying on your back. I've already used the bag as a carry on item when flying for my electronic devices that can't go into checked bags because of lithium Ion batteries. The bag is convenient, large and comes in a wide assortment of colors and patterns. Ive opted for the blach bag as it is low hey and goes good with anything and also hides any dirt or stains.
