Bought this assembly for a motorcycle windshield. After installation, the plastic bracket that connects the wiper arm to the wiper itself broke during testing in the workshop. Absolutely useless. However, the motor is fine and the case appears to be splash proof. I found another short wiper assembly and got it working. This works very well on a motorcycle. The swing is adjustable and can stop in any direction. Bottom line: if you want to use it right away, don't buy it, it's cheap junk and won't work for five minutes. A small 12v DC motor proved useful for a special automotive project like mine, otherwise forget it.
