This is hand wash only and I would add that they will likely need to be turned inside out. After receiving them my daughter tried them on. She fit well and looked cute. I washed them on hand wash mode and took them out straight away. The shiny material has come off the base material like glitter all over my washing machine. I can shake my pants and watch the glitter fly away. If you only wear them once they might fit, just don't wash them first, or make sure you wash them inside out, they're not designed to last longer than a pair of socks anyway.
