Color: warm white. I installed two sets in an alcove under two rows of kitchen cabinets. which date from the 1960s. This improvement dramatically changes the feel of the kitchen. The amount of wiring involved was enormous, so standing in the kitchen you can't really see anything other than the desired lighting effect, which is amazing and exceeded my expectations. Dimmers and switches work great; I put them in hidden places. behind cabinet posts (not doorposts, but stand posts). One of the two transformers seemed unusually warm, even if it wasn't loaded with electronics. I have my suspicions and will check it out in a week or two and replace if necessary. I've installed hundreds of 12V and 5V DC transformers. they are indeed commodities. I've never had a fire, but I guess there's always a first time. I'm an electronics engineer and these wall warts shouldn't get hot when not loaded, even when installed. Nutrition My wife LOVES the light!
