These lamps are just great! Had to use it for my 16 year old cat who has kidney disease and read that infrared light treatment helps. As long as he likes it. 75 watts won't burn it. It's the perfect long lasting warmth without damage. When using it for pets, do not use more than 75 watts. I give 4 stars because of the price. Amazon was more expensive. I didn't know they sold them for much less on Chewy. Otherwise yes, highly recommended.
