Prepare for improvised assembly. Very good wood used in production but the hardware included is not that good. Screws to attach the seat to the support legs are fine, but note that the wood screws provided are softer than hardwood. I unscrewed the head of the second when I assembled it and had a lot of trouble getting the stringer out and removing what was left of the screw. Make your life easier and buy new high-quality 1.5" wood or construction screws. I was able to complete the assembly but could not completely remove the broken screw. I was able to attach the stringer through the same hole and leave the rest of the first screw in place. I also used strips of paper to wrap the stringers as needed so they fit snugly around the legs. In general, I am very satisfied with the results. Let's see how they behave when used. The silver screw in the photo is what I used. Note the condition of the bent screw included in the kit - too soft for the application.
