I've had two office chairs in the past that I've used on my desk and they were really decently comfortable, but they were in that faux leather that ALWAYS ends up like crazy then goes the cylinder off. I actually decided to play a bit since I had a weekend off and hadn't done it in so long I didn't realize how bad my old chair was until my back hurt the next day. So I decided that for the next replacement I would go for a good chair. After a long search I came across this guy when I was SPECIFICALLY looking for a fabric chair instead of a leather chair. A big plus is that the fabric is zipped so it can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Just the back. You clean the seat in the same way as any other furniture. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. No tools required, just screws and the Allen key provided. Take the assembly time with caution as I work as an industrial mechanic so it's not that big of a deal putting a bunch of hex screws in an office chair lol. If you have someone else I would use it because the box is quite heavy and some of the positions can be a bit awkward when aligning the pieces. The casters just slide in like most other office chairs. They usually fit a 5/16 inch universal size. Luckily, the only star I took off was that the wheels that came with this chair were noticeably harder to roll on my carpet compared to my old chair. So I just removed the wheels. My old chair and put them here and it came out perfect. The upholstery is a bit hard, like the seats in my Honda. So not very soft but still comfortable. I understand the complaints that you feel like you don't have enough space but you have to get used to taking up the entire seat lol It makes sense if you have a chair but if you are a bit taller and feel being too far forward just sit further back in the backrest so it would recline I suppose? I'm 6ft 3in, 230lbs and definitely feel like I have plenty of room but when I first sat in it was uncomfortable. Last but not least, it has 3 main customizations. Standard lever to raise or lower the seat. A lever to "lock" or "unlock" the current tilt position and a tensioner to resist the tilt. The armrests move up and down and have 3 positions that they can pivot outward, stay centered, or move inward. They move about 15 degrees with each press, nothing special but a nice addition. In general, I am completely satisfied with both the looks, durability / quality and comfort. I don't have very long sessions, but sometimes I sit in a chair for at least 3-4 hours and I'm always comfortable. If I had to do it again I would buy it again.
