My daughter loves this hat! She doesn't like wearing hats, so it makes mom happy if she grabs some before we go out alone. According to parents, this is wonderful for the California sun. The fringe is large, which protects her entire face from the sun. The back of the hat is adjustable so she can wear it for a while. The neck cover is also light so it doesn't even make a fuss about it being there. Your head won't sweat after wearing it during the day because the material is light and fresh. All in all a great purchase and would recommend to all parents.
