An adjustment was required.
I bought these to use with my resin incense burner. I needed something inexpensive to hold the carbon rims while they were being ignited. At first they didn't even pack the coal properly. It always fell out. Luckily they are lightweight and easily fold/compress for a better grip (see photo). To bend them tighter together, you need to pinch at the base of the tweezers. After that, they hold the charcoal MUCH BETTER. Be careful not to squeeze them too hard or you could bend them or worse, break them. :D Otherwise I'm satisfied. They are exactly what I was looking for and at a reasonable price.
