Bought for elderly parents who use the shower bench for bathing and need a brush with a good grip and long reach. The grip feels good as it makes the grip thicker and has vertical lugs for a better grip. The wood feels solid and the brush heads are fixed (I didn't need a removable one as they fall off easily). While I've sadly spent too much time looking for the best back brush, I'm a bit disappointed with the bristles and length of the brush. There isn't much of a difference between soft and hard bristles (hard bristles aren't nearly as hard as nylon(?) plastic bristles) so they may not get the good "back scratching" effect that bristles do. on the main brushes. Also, it's not much longer than the standard back brush - yes, I've read the descriptions of this one and many, many others carefully - but not having a standard back brush to measure I risked it being longer. Also, the other properties were better than most other brushes, so it was the most suitable choice. While it's not "perfect," given the stubble and length, I probably would have bought it anyway.
