One of the most important things

Sometimes the simplest tool is the best. I think I had this lathe when I started sewing over 30 years ago and it is still an essential part of any sewing kit. It offers me better angles than anything I've tried due to its hard plastic blend, and it's long enough to easily hold in my hand. I've used it to rotate corners in small spaces (1" x 1" squares) and while the image makes it look large, it actually doesn't. It's one of those things like a seam ripper, tape measure, leather thimble, and marker pen that you just have to have.
