Review on 💦 ACDelco Professional 252-838: Efficient Water Pump Kit for Optimal Performance by Marcus Krieger

During the second processing, after further inspection, it was found that the water pump was defective. The impeller came out on the shaft and wore out through the water pump housing in 10,000 miles. Not very good. Upon machining, it was the original OEM water pump body that developed a crack near the bypass pipe flange that was leaking, not this Delco 252-838 water pump I ordered. So I am giving the water pump a four star rating as it has only done 10,000 miles but is still working. On a 2004 GMC Sierra with a LB7 Duramax, by the way. He has not even driven 10,000 km. Now there are enough tears to stand on the belts and spray the engine bay with Dexcool. The pump is not an expensive part, but it is a pity to change it. Maybe I'll look at a different brand this time.
