cost about the same and when I was buying diapers I couldn't find many reviews supporting the two compared, even though they had so much in common. I should also note that my comparison is based on twins wearing the same diaper at the same time, and my twins are boy/girl twins who are a long way from the same height and weight - hopefully this will make for a more unbiased assessment to lead. Review Pampers are slightly "bigger" than haggis. I compared all sizes (NB, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) and found that comparing unused diapers side by side showed Pampers were "bigger" than Huggies BUT when wet/used are, pampers don't seem to be as good at holding as much liquid and as inflated as huggies before they leak. Both retain a lot of moisture and keep baby dry, but when it comes to 12+ hour protection I would only trust the dedicated Overnight range. Both of my kids wore diapers a lot and I personally found the huggies to be snug on their thighs/buttocks. I know a lot of moms who swear diapers are better than huggies, so I honestly think it all depends on the baby and their build. My kids are both stockier (5 months old, almost 20 pounds each and wearing 9-12 month clothes) so maybe diaper pads are better for skinny kids? This is just my personal opinion and I hope it helps other moms because finding the perfect diaper isn't easy!
