I was impatient and bought a $60 case and stand at electronics stores while waiting for this Poetic case to arrive. The other case was fine for business and field operations. However, I wanted something for entertainment (I have a laptop and a smartphone for work). This Poetic case was more comfortable to hold, worked well with the tempered glass screen protector, and the volume boost from facing the speaker ports forward was AMAZING for gaming and movies! I had to turn off Dolby Atmos because it was a huge difference in volume (directs the sound forward)! It also meant I wasn't blocking any of the speakers when holding my gaming tablet! I don't trust Drops anyway so I just needed an extra layer of protection that allows for a tempered glass screen protector that's easy to hold. . I got this PLUS a big sound boost!
