It smells like it is plastic

It's a nice design but it smells like plastic and it's not a nice tan, it's almost orange. It fits as expected and I'm keeping it because I can't find a good similar design anywhere else, but I'm dying it with fabric paint to get a color I can really mix and match with things and replacing the lacing. Overall I'd say it's not worth it unless you're willing to do some tweaking.
