Review on 🎧 Pink Audio-Technica ATH-CLR100iSPK SonicFuel In-Ear Headphones: With Mic & Control by Dave Rasic

You get what you pay for (mostly)

Short version: THIS DOES NOT HAVE AN ELBOW CONNECTOR LIKE THE PICTURE; two pairs died after about 9 months; The sound/mic isn't bad for $15, but it's fragile enough that you'll probably need to replace it sooner than you'd like. Version of Tolstoy: I bought two pairs of these headphones in September 2017 and at the time of this review (June 2018) neither work. As others have said, I ordered them because of the right angle plug, but got straight plug headphones. This is a reliability issue, but I didn't think $15 was worth the hassle of returning it. Each of the two headphones has since died. (Pair #1 lasted 5 months. Pair #2 lasted 4 months.) Pair #1 died in February 2018 when the wires began visibly detaching from the plastic housing around the connector. Couple #2 died June 2018; Symptoms of the failure were the same (sound from one earbud was cut off) but with no visible physical damage. If they had an angled plug as shown in the picture instead of a straight one I think they would last longer. Sonically they are ok. Microphone reception was good. The sound in the headphones was good: the bass lit up a bit, but not so much that it required any kind of adjustment through the equalizer at all. For $15 they're good. But when I pay $60 a year for headphones, I expect something that performs better.
