These are used to fill the slipcovers I made for my sofa. They are lightweight and are excellent for this purpose. They're very soft so I wouldn't say you can use them as a bed pad for example to watch TV, but if you just need a nice insert for your extravagant pillows then they're great, especially for the price. They came in a nice little box and were (cleverly) packed in pouches that were vacuum sealed. Great idea to reduce shipping costs. Now that they are so soft, ordering them 2 inches more than you really need might make them more "filling" for your pillows. I'm not sure but if I ever need inserts again I will buy again.
