I'm an artist so I often photograph my work, some of which is very small. This camera is perfect for me! Not only does it have a standard macro mode for small subjects, it also has a super macro mode for REALLY small subjects. I feel like I'm holding a microscope! The zoom is incredible too. I could catch every hair on a chipmunk from four feet away. Of course, the more you zoom in, the more you risk blurring from a shaky camera. But it's still nice to see how well the auto-stabilize feature works. It doesn't work every time, but definitely more often than I expected. This camera also offers different approaches to photography depending on your skill level. It's fair to say that the auto function works really well - of course, it automatically adjusts the camera settings to the current lighting conditions. I took interior shots that look great. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, you can opt for a scene instead. You choose the camera setting from a list of scenarios - indoor party, flowers, snow, night, fireworks, etc. Or, if you're an advanced user, you can turn off the automatic and preset options and customize the aperture and shutter settings. yourself. In short: a great camera with options for every skill level.
