I have had a Canon i960 printer since December 2003. It used to be my photo printer but now I only use it to print documents and sometimes not. print in a month. It's the only printer I've ever had that never clogs or has any problems even after not using it for a few months. I only used Canon brand inks. It's not cheap, but it has never let me down. When I've used this printer for photos, the prints have always looked great on high-quality paper. I don't think printers have come out that use BCI-6 cartridges in the last few years, so I think it's a matter of time before you can't get them anymore.
