Although the assembly instructions call for two adults to be present, one is sufficient. I can only assume that the second one is for making tea before serving it on the table. While it's important to support the bottom ring while installing it, any support, including a dog, will do. Another assembly tip aside from the above tee, use the letter guides when attaching the legs as their placement will affect the proper fit of the bottom ring. The table is sturdy and adds a rugged charm to spaces that might otherwise appear too massive. I am happy with the purchase.
