This is my fourth pair; three for hard court and one for clay court/all purpose court. I have a relatively small foot, women's size 6, with a high arch and a bit wide. Pros: The booty style fit is the best and always brings me back. Tight fit without affecting circulation. For me the thickness/thinness of the sock is the key to a perfect fit (I like Bomba's tennis socks). Light and flexible, the sole is not rigid. Virtually no time to break in. My healing slips a bit during the first two sessions, but not enough to cause any hot spots/blisters. Cons: They should be perfect for people with flat feet, which I'm not. I replace the insoles with Sole sports insoles (red). Hard playing seems to wear out the soles much quicker than I remember on my old hard soled Diadoras. The price of comfort? The main wear area is on the inner edge under the big toes. My clay shoes look like they'll last ten times longer. The upper is double-layered and the top layer is mesh. When playing on clay/omni courts, the upper collects sand/clay. Not a functional issue, just annoying. The garbage is mostly shaken out and they wash well. On my third pair of hard coated shoes, the drawstring ripped the second time I put it on, which plays an important role in donning the trophies. I'll just sew them back on, but I'm disappointed. If no other style of shoe comes with better arch support, I'll stick with these tennis shoes.
