I wanted to start by describing the problem that made me choose this product. One morning my Xbox One suddenly wouldn't turn on. This will make a startup sound, but the Xbox logo will not light up. The light on the power supply was amber and stayed that way when I tried to start the console. I decided to bite the bullet and try to buy one of these third party power supplies. I chose this particular brand because it was mentioned in a Reddit post. This power supply allows my Xbox One to turn on and function properly. I've been using it for a week and so far it seems sufficient and without problems. Contrary to its description of being quiet, it does have fan noise, albeit a fairly quiet one. Too quiet to hear the TV audio but loud enough to hear it from 3-4 feet away if the room is quiet. It sounds like a gentle fan moving air, which I think it does, at a low pitch, like a hair dryer. I was very concerned when choosing a product that it could be much louder so I'm happy already. I expect not to use it too much after Series X releases. I'll update this review if I find that the audio levels have increased over time.
