Bright red BUT - 1/2 of the string died on day 2! INDEED? Also insanely overpriced...
Grrrrrrr... the plan for the tall pillars was to wrap them in red lights like candy so I ordered 2 of them. one thing but overpriced AND shabby? Ashamed. And yes - we tested every bulb by hand. They pulled themselves up, moved, did everything they could, but the entire section remained unlit. It came on from the start and then went out the next night when we turned it on. Went to the nearest big store and you know what? A box containing 100 red lights was found. For $2.50. And they all shine and burn constantly.
