Not as tall as the original

Perhaps I didn’t realize this before I purchased it, but there isn’t the same amount of room between the plate and the grate. This will only be an issue for when I need to put a drip pan in for smoking. Other wise it fits in the egg perfect.

Pros

Works well. Pizza and burgers so far, fast uron place setter worked exceptionally well.

Cons

Does not fit Akorn 16620 grill-is way too big.

i have used these before , but not from this company, they are used as a defuser, when smoking meat indirect method. although this one did not fit right, it was too snug....too tight. you have to be carefull with these things , they can break in half very easly, from little impact, does not take much.
