I scaled it down like the reviews said! I originally ordered a large one which was too big but I liked the jacket so much I just kept it and gave it to my mom and dad. I ordered a green-blue medium! There is enough space underneath to put on a sweatshirt, but you can also wear without a sweatshirt. It's so fluffy you can wear it alone. I like its texture, it's not slippery at all so it doesn't make any noise when walking lol it won't ruin the camouflage if that's your goal. As a winter jacket, it is warm enough. in my opinion but I also live in PNW where most of the winter is in the 40s unless you are in a mountainous area which I am not as I am a good midwest girl, who does not like to travel unnecessarily when there is no high water.
