I previously purchased the EUASOO Mini USB-C Dock to use with my MSI Prestige 14 laptop when traveling and was pleased with its performance. Now that I'm doing a lot more homework like many of us, I wanted a USB-C based docking station that could be permanently connected to my desktop with just one connection to my laptop. According to the description, this device met my needs, was a good price and came from a manufacturer with whom I had good experiences. Use my current laptop power adapter to charge my laptop while connected to the docking station and now it can stay in the laptop bag. Since the second factory PSU for this laptop alone costs nearly $90, that's a huge plus. The dock also includes a separate USB audio device, which is a big plus for conferencing and collaboration apps like Zoom and Skype with an analog headset, which can sometimes struggle to share the main audio device on your hardware with other Windows apps. USB card readers for SD and Micro SD cards are fast, which comes in handy if you frequently write images to Raspberry Pi devices. Installation is very easy, I just moved all my displays and peripherals into the dock, plugged in the power adapter, and then connected the included USB-C cable to my laptop. Windows loaded the USB audio driver and my external displays popped up immediately after a few seconds. In terms of stability and compatibility, I ran a few Zoom and Skype meetings via a docked Logitech HD webcam with no issues, and played a few games to ensure my Nvidia Geforce adapter was docked with my external Display works no loss of performance confirming my laptop charges as fast as it did with the OEM adapter attached. This unit did everything I expected and compared to the price of a micro USB dock + a second laptop power adapter it's particularly good value. The packaging is noticeably "premium" and the build quality of the hardware is really good, the included USB-C cable ends even match the body color, nice attention to detail. It's a very clean, utilitarian aesthetic, it's about the size of an Intel NUC PC, and while it doesn't look bad on a desk, mine will sit underneath and out of the way. I wasn't able to test 4k support as I don't have a 4k display in a convenient location near the dock/laptop, nor did I test the ethernet port as Wi-Fi is only available in that part of the house is . Overall a great product and a great price, especially with the included power adapter. It's not something I'd carry around in my laptop bag, but for a permanent desktop solution, it's a great solution that should work well for both personal and commercial use rather than the manufacturer's expensive docking solutions.
