I like the XL outdoor cameras but they need some serious work. They work fine for about 2 weeks and then suddenly stop detecting movement. It's good if he's at a house 1500 miles away. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled several times, updated the firmware and the product. Nothing yet. Live view works so there is that. I also traded them on Amazon but only took about 2 weeks. Unfortunately, these are cute little cameras, but they require some serious work.
