Review on 💡 Furman AC-215A Black Compact Power Conditioner with Auto-Resetting Voltage Protection by Bryan Aleman

High quality unit

I needed something better than a high performance power supply for my home recording studio (PC, synth, keyboard, mixer, powered speakers, auxiliary equipment) that could help with power management (filtering, buffering, protection, etc.) . My AC power is already pretty good but would like to add some general protection. I was already familiar with the high quality of Furman and its reputation is exceptional judging by the various 'best' reviews around the web. So I chose this device because of the price. Warning: There seems to be some confusion between the pictures and the actual device - some pictures may actually show 15 amps and others 10 amps - some products are much more expensive with an additional power cord. After looking at this on Furman's website and other online sites it seems ALL product photos should show 10 amps as the unit is so listed by the manufacturer and this is the product I received (10 amp -Product). That made me think twice about whether 10 amps were "enough" - given the price, manufacturer and the loading my rig is going through, I decided to use that as the "master"; and I bought our extension cords from them as a "slave"). I don't see why they wouldn't just use 15 amps, which is probably more typical. If you're a professional, have a lot of connectors, have grounding issues, and need to rack mount everything, this isn't the device for you. If you work in a home studio and are looking for a very good, inexpensive, high quality solution to meet your power needs, I recommend this product. Kind regards.
