Worst camera I have ever owned

If I could give this product a zero I would. This is the worst camera I've ever had. I've had other stealth cams and a competitor. Although we live in the city we have some amazing shots of bears, coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions. I've had good experiences with stealth cams in the past so I gave this camera way more power than I should have and now it's too late to return it so now I have a very expensive paperweight. Where to start with this product disaster. First, he takes hundreds of photos out of the blue. Then when an animal or person walks right in front of him, he doesn't take any photos. When I first set this up I figured it must be caused by grass or a branch. But it turned out that was nothing. I know this because I put it in my driveway and there was no grass or branch to summon it. For some reason the camera worked, and then it worked non-stop for hours. I will be left with over 1000 photos of absolutely nothing. When I then knew that my dog or my child was running in front of her, there was not a single photo of the animal or child. I thought I set something up wrong so I did a factory reset and then followed the instructions step by step. So far, there are no photos of what actually moves in front of the camera. Only photos from the area in front of the camera where nothing is moving. I've been trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I went on vacation and left my security camera on hoping to get some great shots while we were gone. We live in the city, so the wildlife appears mainly at night. Too bad this camera doesn't take night shots. Well, it needs night shots, but each of them is completely black. I am attaching one of the photos. I have thousands of them. They are all black. The camera worked like a day and took thousands of pictures a night. Everyone. Lonely. one. Black. Was there really an animal that came by from time to time? Or is only the camera working? I have no idea. And I'll never know, because everything is black. When I discovered this, I again assumed I had done something wrong, went back to factory settings and followed the step-by-step guide for the third time to set up the camera. It didn't help. Over 1800 black photos the next night. And then, after five weeks, the batteries were completely dead. This camera is a waste of money. Next time I'll take it to electronics recycling. Save money, hassle and missed photos and pass this trail camera on to others.
