I've been using this light with a SmartThings hub for a few months now and wouldn't recommend it. When it works, it's great - I really liked that the smart outdoor bulb has a fully integrated motion sensor built into it, and you can even use the motion sensor to trigger automations including other devices (like turning on all your outdoor lights ). with this). ). But there are two big problems: 1. The motion detector gets very finicky at times and keeps throwing detection events. I added the bulb in ST as the correct "Sengled Smart LED ZigBee" device and it shows up correctly with motion detection and dimming.2. The lamp seems to have a built-in automatic that you can't disable to turn it on 100% when motion is detected after dusk. This is not displayed in the ST and the bulb just stays on (no auto off delay). There is no way to turn this off. There were nights between #1 and #2 when the bulb wanted to come on every 5 minutes and turning off all automation doesn't stop that - I have to go outside and physically turn off power to the bulb. Search the ST community forums, this is a known issue. TLDR: Look elsewhere if you have a SmartThings hub.
