I loved them but was disappointed twice. It's a nifty concept that fits in the corners of your ears, but paired with a fresh piercing isn't as comfortable as it could be. Lots of nice additions in the package, this part has a very high quality finish. The sound quality is so-so. Very heavy bass so not everything sounds great. It could have been a lot worse but for the price I expected better. My first pair had a short in my left ear and the sound cut out while running or climbing and it fitted. I ordered a replacement pair which I used for the first time today. And again, the left earpiece was either mute or turned off. Good for climbing, very annoying for running. I have never wrapped cords or otherwise treated them. I attached my iPod to my shirt, pulling the cord from under my shirt to my head. I tested them on my iPad and had the same problem. Maybe they don't like Apple products? Needless to say I will definitely be returning them this time. I personally wouldn't order them. My Cheap $15 Purple In-Ear Headphones offer better sound quality for a fraction of the price.
