I recently rescued a six year old Great Dane. We're in the early stages of getting to know each other and since everything is new, she's still incredulous about a lot of things. I hadn't been able to lure her into my bed yet, so she slept on a quilted fleece rug on the floor. She has a hard time getting up and down off the floor, so I wanted something that would support her while being comfortable. This bed was delivered about an hour ago. I took her out of the box and gave her a little fluff, then removed the fleece and put the bed back in place just before letting her back in from her work. She bent her head in front of me, sniffed the bed, climbed in, made the necessary circle and has been fast asleep ever since! I've never seen anything like this. From the first impression she loves this bed! I also bought a matching dog blanket and it's such a great quality I've used it to sleep in!
