Outstanding Camera Among Digital Cameras

I like everything about this camera so far (I've had the camera for about two weeks and have done two photo shoots with it). I used the Canon Rebel XT which is a good DSLR but the T2i is a fantastic improvement. As with any DSLR, lenses are more important than the camera body itself, but the T2i is a great base to build on. Here are some of my favorite features. - Resolution 18 megapixels. My XT has a pretty pathetic 8MP resolution. While you can get great 4x6 prints with 8 megapixels, in the computer age images need to be of high enough resolution so that they don't look grainy on a large computer screen. The T2i's 18 megapixel camera lets you capture detailed photos, even on a large digital screen. SD card slot. SD cards are easy to find, and with two or three 8GB SD cards, even with 18-megapixel images, you're unlikely to run out of storage. If you shoot weddings, you might want to stock up. - Compatible with remote control. The T2i doesn't come with a remote control, but I ordered one from Revain for less than two dollars, and it's as simple as pointing the remote at the camera and pressing a button. This feature is very useful for self-portraits. - Large (3") LCD screen. The larger your screen, the easier it is to spot images that aren't sharp enough when viewed. - Any noticeable shutter lag. If you hold down the shutter button, continuous shooting begins automatically, refocusing about every second, so you can quickly configure it manually.

Better than the newer Canon DSLR's and highly recommend getting one while you still can!
