I charged them overnight (just in case) and as soon as I took them out of the charging case they connected automatically. The sound quality is very satisfying and I now use it for everything including workouts and even watching videos. I haven't had any issues with noise yet, but I don't use these headphones for phone calls (I put my phone on do not disturb every time I use them just to have a good time with music).
