I rely heavily on consumer opinion, so I feel compelled to provide feedback when I've had a bad experience. This product has received great reviews and is really well made. The problem is the opening and closing mechanism. My previous charger was great, the sticky stuff just wore out. It sways before closing, sways before releasing, but most of all it opens accidentally. Opens when you touch your phone, even if you don't touch your phone. My phone (Galaxy 10) dropped half a dozen times while driving before I gave up. I've really been trying to figure out what's wrong. I might have gotten a bad one, but I can't risk an accident. Also, this thing bounced like a basketball even when fully retracted. I've had half a dozen stores and non-stores, that's the only thing I would consider dangerous. The sticky things worked great and charged well.
