Advantages:1. Strong. Holds, doesn't fall apart. Absolutely odorless. Serious. It just smells like a wet pack of tissues.3. The lid fits well and the packaging does not dry out when the lid is closed4. Small enough to be portable. Cons: 1. It would be so great if the lid closed by itself so if my child forgets to close it the whole pack doesn't dry out but just turns into a fat lump of toilet paper. Summary We initially used these kandoo towels for about 6 years. years ago during the toilet education phase when my son was learning to wipe. We are very happy with these wipes and how well they work. Around the same time the older child stops using wipes and starts drying toilet paper, the younger child begins the toilet training phase. So we buy them and pretty much have a stash in house for the last 6 years. Now the youngest daughter is 5 years old and these towels help her a lot too. Wet wipes work much better than toilet paper and are much more reliable at keeping floors clean. Washing dirty laundry is no fun at all. Yes, some reviewers have left negative reviews about the size of these towels; Remember that they are for small children, small hands and small buttocks. In fact, I think they're the perfect size for elementary school and kindergarten kids. I've used a few from time to time and I agree they're a bit small for adult use, but c'mon, it's called Kandu, spelled with a "K" and is meant for kids. How can you blame them? The packaging specifically says they can be flushed and we've been flushing them down the toilet in our house for the past 6 years with no problem. There's a disclaimer on the packaging that suggests flushing it frequently during use so you're not trying to send a giant ball of tissues down the toilet that could potentially clog the job. Great advice that I've tried to pass on to my kids. However, I can guarantee that none of my kids have ever grasped the concept, and I'm sure they've flushed handfuls at a time in addition to large bundles of toilet paper. To date, none of the children has clogged the toilet. (We also bought new Kohler toilets that claim to be clog-proof. That's not entirely true, but I digress.) The wipes are decently thick and durable, and don't fall apart when you use them, which is a bit of a concern , if you remember that they run through your toilet drain pipe. But they're also easy to tear and prick at the same time if you're not careful, so I can see them disintegrating and falling apart. Surprisingly, we've never had a problem with our toilets clogging with those wipes or any other plumbing issue. Maybe we're lucky and we have a great canal system. The only downside is that these bags will definitely dry out if the lid isn't fully closed. I'm not sure how long it will take for this to happen, but I've walked into the kids' bathroom more than once to see a dried out packet of Kandoo wipes. Luckily, they're relatively easy to reconstitute with a little water, while retaining their cleaning power and still being removable from the tissue-paper-like packaging.
