I ordered 72 packs of colored pencils and mainly paint to pass the time in hotels when I have to travel; Also, lugging pencils around in the pencil case wore out the packaging very quickly. So, inevitably, I went in search of a pencil case that would be a little more durable when traveling. I took this pencil case and am very happy with it. He definitely holds pencils well. The rubber band is very tight and nestles nicely around the pins for the first time. I have no doubt that over time the rubber band will loosen up and it will be much quicker and easier to remove and reinsert pens. There are basically 2 sections divided into 4 "pages". Each section has its own zipper (2 zippers in total) and each side has 6 elastics that can hold 3 pins. So far she is fine. If I run into any durability issues I'll come back and update, but I don't expect that to happen. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to make their choice of color or travel easy.
