We have a refurbished iPad 2 with a cracked screen, covered with a plastic screen protector and housed in a child-sized silicone case. It was a beating, keep doing it but still does the job. This iPad will be passed on to our children. When I got my new iPad I wanted a new case that would cover it completely and also allow it to be positioned both horizontally and vertically. It seems to get the job done without being too bulky. I love how you can adjust the ring in any position, I love how stiff it is to keep the iPad in place, and I love how I can grip it with one hand, which makes this 9.7 inch device is easier to use. I'm not worried about how it sticks out but I wish it was detachable to make the case thinner when packed in a bag or in case it breaks you could replace it instead of the whole case. It takes some practice, but it may be a bit tricky to install on an iPad the first time. What I like least in this case is the plastic screen protector. Of course it's nice that it offers extra protection and is scratch resistant, but I don't like that it leaves fingerprints and smudges. I don't like that it doesn't lay flat on the screen, even with tempered glass on mine. So when I print, I feel like I'm printing on cheap plastic instead of smooth, hard glass. Received it from Revain's warehouse in good condition, so I like that it's a few bucks cheaper. I don't know if I bought a new one if the screen was flatter than I wanted. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, it offers the versatility I was looking for but I hope it lasts.
