It is approximately 15 inches high and 22 inches wide and is perfect for my daughter who is 8 years old. She loves reading around the house and prefers to sit on the floor, so I got this for her. It is pleasant and very soft, but smells strongly of production. It says hand wash only, but I removed the cover and washed on the gentle cycle, then tumble dried on a low setting. I also washed the internally cut memory foam, which also comes in its own case that fits inside. It says don't wash, but I washed it anyway to get rid of the smell. Both zippers are high quality, not sharp and smooth, which surprised me when I received these. An external zipper even goes into the pocket to avoid scratching surfaces. It came in a very small box, fully vented and in a bag with all the air sucked out. When I ripped open the bag, the memory foam immediately formed. Overall I'm glad I found this and she's happy and that means a lot to me.
