It has the discreet look of a hat but is an adjustable cap with a satin lining. I've been really lazy with my hair lately because I'm crocheting a tedious but durable braid into my own hair and just haven't had the energy to do it lately. This hat was a real godsend because it keeps my hair from getting frizzy and tangling too much. I have two identical hats but the adjustment elastic is in the cap and pulls the hair at the back of the head. Dissatisfied! I just washed my hair, untangled it, blow dried it, braided it and put on a hat. I don't know when I'll finally do my hair, but maybe I'll wear this hat until next laundry day. I like!
