Above all it's HUGE! So not sure if I'll be using it for air travel, but that's fine because I won't be flying any time soon! I use it to commute back and forth to my boyfriend's on the weekends, I wanted to streamline the process so I didn't waste a lot of time packing my (plentiful) toiletries. I am happy to report that everything from gouache to neti pots to soap can be stored here. I think this would be a great bag for long trips or longer trips as it is so big. Liquid has already been spilled into the transparent plastic compartment and I have to say that one of its advantages is that it is totally waterproof. The downside is that it's so huge that it's better to carry as your own bag, it basically fills up my tiny tote bag so there's no point in putting it in there! I'm not sure how good this would be for air travel as the amount of liquid you can take is very small, but if you have lots of other stuff (like neti pots) it might work. Overall I like it a lot and I'm very happy with it. The only problem was that the fabric loop on the top outside of the tote bag broke right after packing it in before first use. I used it that way because I didn't want to unpack and use it all the time and also used it for a long trip. Luckily the Amazon bot was kind enough to help me process my return with a pre-shipped replacement so I could transfer my stuff from old to new and then ship the old one back. Gratitude!
