UPDATE: After a few months of use the bands are still going strong, you literally need very sharp corner cutters to trim or cut off the excess. The only downside I would say is that they are quite difficult to put on and almost require one man to hold and another to pull. I would recommend! I used these zip ties to attach a 3 foot welded wire fence to 5 foot T posts. I was just trying to keep my dogs out of the backyard but was pleasantly surprised when my 130lb French Mastiff must have forgotten the new fence and crashed into my new fence at full speed. Except for a nasty dent in the fence that snapped back in place easily (and the dog with the injured pride is fine, by the way), the new zip ties haven't budged a bit. The plastic strap would likely break. I highly recommend this product. Great great price and great product. You can't find plastic cable ties at such a cheap price.
