This was my first small drone. I have purchased a few items from the Tozo brand and have really liked their products. They emailed me and asked if I would be interested in evaluating one of their mini drones and if they would refund my purchase price in exchange for an honest review. I agreed - let her know it would be fair, if not very good. I have some experience with RC products - a few cars and buggies, a few boats and a few simple planes. I had an RC version of a typical helicopter and it was difficult to fly. I wondered how hard it would be. Well it's not much I can say. It can be controlled via the built-in controller or smartphone. I didn't particularly like using my phone for controls because I like the feel of a physical button or joystick. Which brings me to the included controller - it's also quite small. It seemed too small in my hands (I have big hands). Instead of joysticks, it has concave buttons for control. They still seem a bit unintuitive to use; They feel like they're pulling a little. I'm still learning to fly it. The video was taken the second and third time I flew it. I've only had it for about a week, and with a couple of days that are too hot to play 100+ degree days plus a couple of windy days, I've managed to get about 5-6 loads and go with it battery to fly. Works for about 8-10 minutes. As for the battery - I would really like to have more than one battery in the kit. It takes about an hour to charge and works for 10 minutes. Then don't play for about an hour. I tried to find replacement batteries but found nothing. This is funny! I can't go to the park to gain altitude or speed with it, but I look forward to taking it from home. I'll wait until I can get some spare batteries before taking it anywhere. You don't have to wait hours for the batteries to be recharged. It features four different 3D flips programmed to perform at the touch of a button. Pretty cool. It also has a return function - I've used it several times! He will return to where he "sees" his transmitter. It has an onboard camera - 720p I believe. The lens points slightly down and you can't see anything but the ground unless you're at least 20-30 feet up. It's not very convenient to use the view to see where you're flying to. It also has a 3D video mode for VR glasses. Again, I wouldn't fly like that. It would be fun to have a friend put on a VR headset while you fly the drone. All in all, it can be a lot of fun in just a couple of 20 years. That made you want more - with a bigger controller and real joysticks!
