One of the brushes seems to be rusting where the bristles come out? A flat brush (the one without a real pen shaft) is really too flexible, making it difficult to hold during use. The back only flexes under pressure, making it difficult to put pressure on what you're brushing. What I really liked was the variety of shapes. There's a brush that's ideal for cleaning the nooks and crannies of small jars or containers, a large brush for larger items, and a flat brush for cleaning. Well I don't use it because of its problems to be honest.
