I bought this mouse after I got tired of looking for a good mouse. I figured I'd shell out the money and buy something decent instead of just putting up with the disabled mice. This mouse comes highly recommended by both Revain and YouTube engineers. I chose the Mac version of the mouse both because I like the color better and because I have a Mac so wanted to ensure compatibility. I'll start with the advantages of the device. It's really very convenient. It adapts to my hand shape very well. It's also a well-made mouse. I particularly like the metal scroll wheel. Speaking of the scroll wheel, it works great compared to many other mice I've tried. Many other mice have scroll wheels that feel noisy or cheap, but this one seems excellent and very quiet. Now about the cons of this device. I followed all the instructions in the email to set up the mouse, but for some reason the Logitech Options software that you need to install to set up the mouse didn't recognize my MX-Master. Also, without changing any settings or updating the firmware (which I think is done via the Options software), the mouse moved jerkily on my screen and scrolling was laggy and almost unusable. I was surprised by this as the device is said to work well with Mac. I contacted Logitech support and they told me there would be an update for OS Monterey and gave me a useless support article. To be fair, I bought the mouse to use today, not some indefinitely in the (probably) distant future. I think part of the problem is that my computer is one of the newer M1 Macs. But again, it claims to be Mac compatible. I tried again for support but the phones didn't work (it's a Saturday) so I gave up and sent the product back. I suspect it might be a good mouse after the update, but I'm not willing to wait that long.
