Although they are cute and designed for 4-5 years, the design is terribly imperfect. averaged 6 1/2 years old, and their fingers barely protruded halfway into the fingers of the glove. We intentionally made the size 1 smaller as we know that these types of gloves are usually larger than advertised. However, it was more than that. Look at the damn pictures! The little finger of the glove is almost as long as the rest of the fingers. So my child's little finger could hardly get in. Fit Although it seemed to "fit" comfortably, the rest of the parts "appear" to fit aside from finger issues. until you move and find them slipping off immediately. There is nothing to stretch or tighten. There is no strap, lace or anything like that. So of course they slip off easily. I was so frustrated that my kid ended up throwing them away and just playing in the snow without them. with bare hands. Waterproof No, not at all. In fact, the description says "waterproof" which means not waterproof. Something might be waterproof. but only up to a certain limit, then it gets wet. That's what happened to these. Waterproof - hardly, Waterproof - no. Heat naturally if they don't get wet. Not sure how they'll hold up in the "really" cold temperatures, but we were out in the snow on a sunny day, so it didn't look like we were all dressed for winter. Overall they suck, which is why we brought them back.
