First of all, this is a pretty good set for its purpose. Yes, maybe not "snap-on" quality, but for the price. Please. Second, for the previous poster (as well as many others related to RROD) - don't be offended and don't neglect something you can really fix. So! Stick it on the "man"! I'm for two :) and that's why. Microsoft puts poor quality (?) paste between heatsink and CPU. Use a kit, replace the "paste" with a real CPU CPU paste like "Arctic Cooling MX-4 Super High Performance Non-Conductive Thermal Compound (4g)" which I think saves the money a lot is worth. Also, use a heatsink lapping kit before applying real thermal grease. If you look closely at the surface you can see that it has ridges like this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^ am in Afghanistan - not many Walmarts here) and the finish will be noticeably smoother. This increases the surface area and also contributes to more efficient cooling of the processor. Also, don't hold a hair dryer or heat gun near the board to "blow off" the solder - it's useless. I think I may have lost a few IQ points just writing this, but I should have - this has to be one of the dumbest things I've read lately.
