There is a trick to getting the top and bottom covers right. The clips are on the front (the part of the laptop that faces the user) and the clips are on the back. The front clips are thinner and more flexible, easier to snap into place. The rear clips are thicker and harder to snap into place. Therefore, for both the top and bottom covers, we need to snap the clips on the back (of the laptop) first, align them carefully, and then snap the front clips in place. I've read in some reviewers that the bottom cover is loose at the back. This is because this user engaged the bottom cover's front clips first, so the back clips didn't engage. One user said the clips on the bottom cover are very difficult to snap into place. If you find yourself in such a situation, ie. The bottom cover front latches are locked and the back is loose, which means you didn't latch the back latches first. If you snap the rear clips first, no force is required. Now the front clips of the bottom clip need some force to snap into place. Because the front clips are thinner, it doesn't require too much force to snap into place. Now for the top cover: First you need to snap the back of the top cover into place, align the left and right sides, and then gently snap the front into place. Top cover clips. Did! :D To remove, proceed in reverse order, first remove the front clips, then the rear clips release. If you try to shoot from behind first, the strength of the rear clips is great because of their thicker structure. I am satisfied with this case. The top cover pattern is on the outside, so it won't damage the top cover of the laptop. Because this cover is of rigid construction, any fall will most likely prevent dents.
