I have been shaving with the DE razor for a number of years now. The swivel mechanism on my old razor was starting to bind, so I figured now would be a good time to upgrade it. So far I've used it twice and I'm happy with the results! Here are a few notes: - The weight of the handle is amazing, it feels very solid in the hand and keeps me from adding power to my shots, which I did with the old razor I had. - The length of the handle is great. It's longer than the old one I used but I feel like I get more overall control combined with the heavier weight. The matte finish looks nice and also serves to increase grip when my hand gets wet while shaving. I noticed the smallest knick-knacks that can be traced back to the coating, but this did not lead to additional irritation. This set contains 5 blades. I'm very careful with the blades I use, so I probably won't use them unless absolutely necessary. For the price this is a great shaver and I would highly recommend it for first time DE shavers or anyone with experience!
