Put simply - I'm pretty picky when it comes to furniture. My father is a carpenter, like my grandfather and his father before him. In my last apartment I assembled most of the furniture myself, but having moved across the country with only a few suitcases I had no time to rebuild things from scrap metal, nor was there a place to do it. I bought these bedside tables because I wanted real wood, not Ikea junk, and I ended up getting what I wanted! It's difficult to find real wood products on Revain, but it seems to be the real deal. Solid, strong, with lots of authentic wood structure and character. Others have commented that they can be difficult to assemble and some have noted quality issues. Out of my sight? That was great. Of course, there are many details and it takes a little time to put them together. And of course, if you don't line things up correctly when you reassemble them, they won't look good. However, if you patiently follow the instructions and carefully assemble the parts, you won't have any problems. I don't know if they'll last a lifetime, but I don't intend to abuse them either - they're just bedside tables, after all. They look great, the boxes work well and the product seems pretty solid (from someone who ordered two of these). I am very happy with what I got from WE furniture and I hope you are too.
